Artificial intelligence has taken the world by storm — and this storm isn’t about to let up any time soon.

From WhatsApp’s Meta AI search to Zoom’s AI Companion, new tools are popping up across our well-loved devices and software platforms every day. And organizations are eager to make the most of them.

Indeed, in 2023, only 33% of organizations harnessed generative AI. Now, the number exceeds 70%.

At Claromentis, we’ve been hard at work developing powerful AI functionality of our own. Over the last year, our team has designed, tested, and perfected three new AI features, available in all Claromentis 10 packages.

Today, we’d like to formally introduce you to them.

New call-to-action

Introducing Claromentis 10’s AI intranet features

1. Content generation

You need to share a company-wide news update but you’re short on time. Years ago, this dilemma might have resulted in working overtime or writing something riddled with typos. Not anymore.

In Claromentis 10, you can create and publish AI-generated content at speed in our News and Blogs applications. Simply type a prompt, hit the button, and watch our AI do all the wordsmithing for you.

Use cases for this feature could include:

  • Summarizing upcoming regulatory changes and obligations.
  • Creating monthly marketing and sales updates.
  • Sharing team insights, employee achievements, or training summaries.

To mitigate errors, the feature reminds users to check the text for inaccuracies and avoid sharing sensitive data. As an additional layer of control, admins can enforce content approval before publication.

2. Image generation

Claromentis 10 also features AI image generation across a range of intranet applications, including:

This feature works similarly to our AI text generator. When you select the AI button, Claromentis will prompt you to write a brief description of the image you’d like to create. You’ll then receive a selection of pictures based on this description, all of which will be optimized for the correct image ratio.

Click the one you’d like, crop it if necessary, and then upload. It’s as simple as that!

3. Policy management chatbot

Last, but certainly not least, is our policy management AI chatbot.

Available exclusively in the Policy Manager application, this intelligent agent pops up whenever a user clicks on a policy. The chatbot ingests the content of the respective policy and generates relevant questions. Users can select one or more of these questions or type in their own to receive a helpful answer or summary.

Needless to say, the bot will not answer any unrelated questions (e.g. “why is the sky blue?”) — only those pertaining to the policy material.

This AI feature is particularly useful for improving policy comprehension, which is vital for maintaining regulatory compliance.

Claromentis AI FAQs

When will these features be available?

All of the features listed above will be available in the latest version of Claromentis, set to release in April 2025.

Does Claromentis use our data to train its AI models?

Our AI functionality runs on Google’s Vertex AI, which provides enterprise-grade support, security, and service level agreement (SLA).

Each feature accesses Vertex AI via an API connection, which is covered by Google Cloud’s terms of service.

As outlined in Section 17 of Google’s Service Terms: “Google will not use Customer Data to train or fine-tune any AI/ML models without Customer's prior permission or instruction.”

For more information, please refer to the full Google Cloud Term of Service, as well as Google’s information on Vertex AI Data Governance.

Can we switch off the AI features?

We understand that AI isn’t everyone’s cup of tea. As such, Claromentis admins are free to turn off these AI features via a dedicated Admin Panel.

Can we deploy these features on-premise?

Yes, you can use the Claromentis AI functionality on-premise, providing your firewalls don’t block API connections to Google Cloud.

If you’re a heavily regulated industry that requires something completely self-contained, our partner Zylon can build you a private AI platform. The tool ingests your Claromentis data — including policies, knowledge base articles, and more — and allows your users to ask questions and generate relevant content. One of our clients, a Michigan-based credit union, currently uses the Claromentis integration within Zylon to streamline efficiency without compromising compliance.

What other AI features are in the pipeline?

Our venture into AI has only just begun — and our team is already testing out new features for future releases. One big project in the works is a document retrieval and AI agent.

Can we submit our own ideas?

We love hearing suggestions from our customers. If you have a particular AI (or non-AI!) feature you would like to see in our digital workplace solution, please let us know via the ‘Ideas’ form in Discover.
